The kids of Geotechmin Group’s employees celebrate 1 June
The International Children’s Day – 1 June was celebrated with special attention to the youngest. The children of GEOTECHMIN GROUP’s employees embarked on a great outdoor adventure to the ‘Machine Island’ – an event organized by Geotrading AD on the territory of ProAuto Service Centre in Sofia.
The event was a reward for all the kids who participated in the creative competition. Once again this year, the children showed their enormous talent and boundless imagination in their drawings, machine models, poems, stories and songs based on two topics: ‘If I Were a Wizard’ and ‘Machines of the Future’.
The kids were very excited to attend the award ceremony and could hardly wait to hear the names of the winners. They were personally chosen by Mr Ivan Vutov, Executive Director of Geotrading AD. First, second and third place awards were given to winners in three age categories: under 5, 6—9 and 10—12. Special prizes were awarded for original songwriting and unique projects. Furthermore, all children received special presents from Geotrading AD for their participation in the competition. .
Before the most anticipated part of the celebration — the winner award ceremony — exactly at 12 p.m., the children and their parents stood still for a minute of silence to honour Hristo Botev and those who died for the freedom of Bulgaria.
On 3 June, Geostroy AD organized a children’s party for their employees’ kids in Topolnitsa Archaeological Park in the village of Chavdar. Nearly 250 participants attended the event including 90 children from Sofia city, the town of Etropole and Srednogorie region’s municipalities. A team of professional animators took care of the guests’ wonderful mood by performing a kids’ disco party, fun games, plenty of surprises and entertainments for both children and adults. The little children were able to paint on a huge white canvas entitled Geostroy’s Kids Are Painting depicting their brightly colored dreams, smiles and sweet little handprints. All participants received a gift at the end of the party.
