The students competed in two categories: literary works – compositions, essays, poems, tales or short stories, and digital images – drawings, mini-models, computer graphics or animation. The contestants were divided into two age groups: 5th – 7th graders and 8th – 12th graders.
The competition started in the autumn of 2020 and was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Geotechmin OOD. In April 2021, the children’s artworks were appraised by a jury consisting of Assoc. Prof. Tsvetan Iliev – a juror for the projects in “Digital Images” category and the young poet Dimana Yordanova who reviewed and assessed the literary works.
The jury awarded 39 first-prize winners, 28 second prizes and 24 third prizes to individual and team projects. 43 contestants gained incentive prizes. All distinguished participants received material rewards and the partner schools – teaching aids and resources.
