Prof. Dsc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov receives Support for Young Talents Award from Standard Newspaper
Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov, President of Geotechmin OOD, received the award of Standard Newspaper for supporting the young talents of Bulgaria. The prize was presented to him at a solemn ceremony, which was part of the international forum “Brand Bulgaria. Touch the Miracles”. The forum was co-organised by the National Tourism Board and Standard Newspaper.
The nomination is given for a series of noble initiatives supporting young people’s spiritual growth, culture and preservation of national self-awareness. For 10 years, Prof. Voutov has been steering Culture and National Identity Programme through which more than 30,000 books have been donated to schools, community centres and kindergartens.
In 2018, Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov founded Bulgarian Virtues Charity Programme. Under the programme, he and four companies ˗ Geotechmin, Ellatzite-Med, Geostroy and Geotrading, implement numerous projects of primary importance for the local people. Among them are renovations of schools and kindergartens, construction of children’s playgrounds, scholarships for talented pupils and students, installation of interactive lecture halls at universities, and many other causes creating better conditions for education and training in Etropole, Mirkovo, Zlatitsa, Chavdar, Chelopech Municipalities, etc.
Mr Dominic Hamers, Executive Director of Geotechmin, received the award on behalf of Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov. The prize was presented by Mr Piet Jaspaert, Vice-President of the pan-European social movement Europa Nostra ˗ a leading citizens’ movement to protect and celebrate Europe’s cultural and natural heritage.
