Prof. Dsc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov received a prize for his outstanding contribution to the Bulgarian Economy
Prof. Dr. Tzolo Voutov was honoured with a special award for his valuable contribution to the Bulgarian economy, scientific research and development at the 13th edition of the annual Investor of the Year Awards given by InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA).
This prestigious award was presented to the President of Geotechmin OOD by the Minister of Economy Mr Emil Karanikolov at an official ceremony in the National Palace of Culture. ‘I bow down to this great Bulgarian man,’ said Mr Karanikolov. ‘This is a remarkable award which I truly appreciate. Today you not only honor me but also my entire team whom I thank publicly for their hard work and dedication!’ replied Prof. Voutov and addressed a message to young people, ‘Invest and work in Bulgaria. Our country has a bright future ahead.’
The prize is personal and recognises Prof. Voutov’s well-deserved reputation as an industrialist, an investor, a scientist and a public figure. The companies from GEOTECHMIN GROUP have implemented some of the most significant projects in mining, construction, infrastructure, environmental engineering sectors and have contributed to the country’s GDP growth. Furthermore, Prof. Vоutov has rendered great services to science and public benefit – he is a Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Union of Mining, Geology and Metallurgy; a member of: Managing Board of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Board of Tourism, Advisory Board of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria, etc.
The biggest investors of the year 2018 were awarded at the official ceremony in Sofia.
