President of Geotechmin Prof. Dsc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov receives Mr Economy award for overall contribution
Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov, President of Geotechmin OOD, was honoured with Mr Economy Award for his overall contribution to the development of Bulgarian economy. This year the contest celebrates its 30th anniversary which inspired its organizers – Economy Magazine and the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB) – to distinguish the most deserving business leaders and entrepreneurs who have contributed to the development of successful business in Bulgaria over the past three decades.
Mr Dominic Hamers, Executive Director of Geotechmin OOD, received the award on behalf of Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov at a glamorous jubilee ceremony. Upon presenting the award, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Ms Mariana Nikolova said, ‘Mr Voutov is a remarkable man who not only skillfully steered the transition of his business through turbulent times of economic changes, but also strengthened and expanded it, and today he successfully manages one of the pillars of Bulgarian economy.’ She also wished him to run the company so professionally and efficiently for many years to come and continue setting a high standard of integrity and humanity.
‘This award is a valuable recognition for Prof. Voutov and the professional teams with whom he has been working for 30 years on the basis of mutual trust and respect. It is a token of appreciation for the joint efforts and achievements of our employees, partners and supporters,’ said Mr Hamers at the official ceremony.
Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the contest organizers in a special letter where he emphasized the importance of the award as a recognition of consistent collective efforts and accomplishments. He also congratulated all nominees and winners of this 30-year contest: ‘You have awarded the best economists, entrepreneurs and managers. I strongly believe that each of them has a long-term vision for sustainable development, contributes with their business to Bulgaria’s advancement by creating and preserving jobs, creating added value and investing in new technologies and in society at large … They have all chosen to live and make business in Bulgaria.’
This is yet another prestigious award that Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov obtained over the years. The President of Geotechmin OOD is a holder of Stara Planina Order, First Degree for his exceptional contribution and merits to the economic development of Bulgaria and establishment of contemporary industrial relations, as well as many other awards for his support and commitment to the advancement of business, science and society.
