Geostroy gained another prestigious prize. The company won a Special Award for sustainable development and good practices in the construction sector in the annual “Best Builder” competition organized by the Regional Office of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber in Sofia (RO of BCC – Sofia).

The prize was presented to Yordan Yonov, Geostroy’s Chief Construction Engineer at a special event in the central office of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber. The awards were handed out by M.Eng. Lyubomir Kachamakov, Chairman of RO of BCC – Sofia.

Sustainable development is part of the CSR policy pursued by both Geostroy and GEOTECHMIN GROUP. The Group has been working consistently in this sphere by paying particular attention to environmental protection, responsibility to society and applying a social policy towards its employees. ‘The award is very valuable to us, because it is bestowed as recognition of special merits. The Special Award for sustainable development and good construction practices has been conferred for the first time. Over the years, Geostroy has won three first prizes in the category “Very Large Enterprises” in competitions organized by RO of BCC – Sofia.
