On National Miner’s Day, the Bulgarian Chamber of Mining and Geology has a proud tradition to confer awards for the most notable achievements over the previous calendar year.

Among the award-winning companies was Ellatzite-Med AD, which received a prestigious prize for innovation in the sector “Large-Scale Enterprises”. The prize was presented by the Deputy Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov and the Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Mining and Geology Prof. Nikolay Valkanov to M.Eng. Dragomir Draganov, Executive Director of the company. The award is conferred for implementing the high-precision positioning system Provision® - a superstructure of DISPATCH® fleet management system for process control of all mining operations. Provision® is a real-time GPS providing control over the truck location, load and haul cycles, and precise performance of all digging and drilling operations within 10 cm GPS accuracy. By doing so, Ellatzite-Med AD has maximized mining production and efficiency, while increasing safety and control.

The management and employees of Ellatzite-Med AD and GEOTECHMIN GROUP accepted the award with a sense of pride and fulfillment as a high recognition of their professionalism and responsibility for the efficient and sustainable development of the company and the Group.
