San Stefano Plaza Project was awarded in the category “Multifunctional Buildings” of the National Contest “Building of the Year 2016”. San Stefano Plaza is a new-generation multifunctional complex in the heart of Sofia. The General Contractor of the project is Geostroy AD, the Investor is San Stefano Property Development EAD and the Designer is San Stefano Associated Architects. The complex, which comprises a residential area, a shopping centre and Class A offices, is currently being certified under BREEAM 2013 - the world's leading sustainability assessment method for buildings.

The National Contest “Building of the Year” is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works with the support of industry organizations in the areas of design and construction. It is the most prestigious event in the sphere of investment projects, construction and architecture, which by tradition distinguishes the best achievements for the past year.
