Patstroy-92 AD, part of GEOTECHMIN GROUP, in a consortium with the same partners who have built Lot 1 of Struma Motorway, was selected to be the Contractor of Lot 2 from Dupnitsa to Blagoevgrad.  The road section will be built by performing a wide range of engineering services and is 37.48 km long.

The preliminary works have already commenced. These include four road injunctions, two road tunnels, ten viaducts, eight river bridges, eight overpasses above national and municipal roads, twelve agricultural underpasses and overpasses. It is also envisaged to perform reconstruction of the existing underground cable lines and water mains, which were affected by the motorway construction.
