On October 26, 2012 – the professional holiday of builders – Geotechmin was awarded by the Bulgarian Construction Chamber for its overall contribution to the construction sector.
This year's prizes were bestowed on the top rated companies in "Builder of the Year" competition at a special ceremony attended by more than 200 official guests and industry representatives. The awards were presented by the Minister of Regional Development Lilyana Pavlova.
For the first time in the history of the ranking Overall Achievement Awards were given to seven construction companies. They were selected based on 12 criteria including staff size and average staff salary, volume of construction works, profitableness of sales, fixed assets and net sales.
