Five Bulgarian construction companies were awarded for their activities in 2007 in a specialized competition organized by Newspaper Pari. The prize-giving ceremony was held in Grand Hotel Sofia on November 11, 2008.
The prize "Construction Company of the Year" is established on the basis of a rating prepared by CBN Panov, Stoichev and Co. for Newspaper Pari. The main evaluation criterion is the volume of construction activities.
The rating for the year 2008 was based on comparative data for 250 companies with a total turnover of 2 billion BGN. Geotechmin was elected "Construction Company of the Year". The Executive Director Tom Beamish dedicated the prize to the company's employees.
