Organizers of the event were the Scientific and Technical Union of Mining, Geology and Metallurgy, Bulgaria and Minstroy Holding AD. One of the co-organizers was Geotechmin OOD. The company president Dr. Eng. Tzolo Voutov was the chairman of the organizing committee.
