In 2014, seven schools from Srednogorie region and the town of Etropole participated in the implementation of the corporate social responsibility programme “Apple for Health”, which was initiated by Ellatzite-Med AD and Geotechmin OOD.

Various apple saplings including persimmons were planted in the schoolyards. The agronomist Pavel Genkov, head of the Auxiliary Farm at Ellatzite-Med, taught the students how to plant apple saplings and other fruit trees.
