Description of the project:
This project occupies a central place in the investment program of Umicore Med for removal of old environmental damages. ОЕС Bulgaria EOOD is the general contractor, and Geotechmin is the main sub-contractor.

Conducted works:
Excavation works, landscaping, surface water drainage, technical recultivation and consequent biological recultivation, as follows:

• excavated slag – 102,200 cub.m.
• embankment for technical recultivation – 58,000 cub.m.
• embankment with soil and topsoil – 48,500 cub.m.
• pipe culvert (diameter 500 mm) and surface drainage ditches – 1,150 m
• reinforced concrete fence – 1,700 m
• laying of grass mixes and bio-blankets – 139 decares
• erection of piezometers (depth 18 m) – 3 pcs.
