Description of the project:
The project is executed on the territory of Maritza East III thermoelectric power plant in the conditions of uninterrupted plant operation. It includes the following subprojects:

• Two Oily Water Treatment Basins
• First-Flush Rainfall Water Basin (35 m x 20 m, depth 4 m)
• Lagoon Water Collecting Pit
• Buffer Pond (storage capacity 30 000 cub.m.) – a basin with soil bottom and embankments and waterproofing of HDPE flexible geo-membrane
• Foundations for a Dosing Device for Cooling Water Chemicals
• Repair of the Foundations of the Pump Stations for Purified and Sluice Water
• Buried yard piping connecting new utilities to existing ones

Conducted works:

• excavation works – 24,000 cub.m.
• filling and backfilling works – 71,000 cub.m.
• concrete works – 1,700 cub.m.
• formwork – 2,700 cub.m.
• reinforcement works – 134 tons
• reinforced concrete pipes – 690 m
• PVC pipelines – 400 m
• GRP pipelines – 1,100 m
• metal structures – 15 tons
