Geotrading’s Executive Director Presents ICARUS Award to Actor Anton Radiche
Mrs Emilia Ilieva, Executive Director of Geotrading AD, part of GEOTECHMIN GROUP, presented the Icarus Award for outstanding contribution to Bulgarian theatre to actor Anton Radichev. The award was conferred at the official ICARUS 2023 ceremony held on World Theatre Day. For a second consecutive year, Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov and GEOTECHMIN GROUP have been supporting Sofia Theatre Salon and ICARUS Awards through Bulgarian Virtues Charity Programme.
‘It is my great pleasure and honour to present the award for outstanding contribution to Bulgarian theatre to Anton Radichev – a unique, amazing and unrepeatable actor who has played dozens of roles in theatre, films and television,’ said Mrs Ilieva.
‘I am so grateful to have been born on this earth … From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I would like to express my genuine appreciation to all of you, because for nearly half a century – 49 years, I have been on the stage of Ivan Vazov National Theatre,’ said the actor after receiving the award.
The motto of the 18th edition of Sofia Theatre Salon is “Choose the Theatre” – a choice that proves to be so easy and proper in years full of uncertainty and challenges. This year, the ICARUS Awards call on everyone to make their choice and trust the theatre, because it is a symbol of human faith in goodness, love and above all – in art.
