Geotechmin and Ellatzite-Med with prestigious awards from BCMG
Geotechmin OOD and Ellatzite-Med AD received prestigious awards from the Bulgarian Chamber of Mining and Geology (BCMG) at an official ceremony celebrating the National Miner’s Day marked on 18 August 2024.
For the fourth time, Geotechmin has won the Corporate Social Responsibility Award of BCMG. A plaque and an honorary certificate were presented to the President of Geotechmin Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov. He strongly believes that the real success of a company depends not only on its responsible business activities, but also on its care for the society.
Ellatzite-Med received a plaque and an appreciation certificate in the Care for Nature category for the project Technical and Biological Reclamation of Benkovski-2 Tailings Storage Facility. The award was presented to M.Eng. Stoil Dimitrov, General Production Director. Furthermore, Ellatzite-Med received another honorary certificate for providing fire-fighting assistance in response to severe forest fires in recent months.
According to tradition on Miner’s Day, the Bulgarian Chamber of Mining and Geology awards leading companies, scientists, outstanding professionals with significant contribution to the mineral raw materials industry, students, and journalists for their objective reporting on the industry.
