Geostroy AD adds 15 new dump trucks to its fleet

Nine new, state-of-the-art dump trucks were officially unveiled in an opening ceremony held in front of the Flotation Complex near the village of Mirkovo. These trucks are part of a strategic investment to renew the machine fleet, with an additional batch of six dump trucks set to arrive by the end of 2024. The new fleet meets the highest environmental requirements, adhering to the Euro 6 exhaust emissions standard, ensuring both efficiency and sustainability.

M.Eng Tsvetoslav Petkov, Executive Director of Geostroy AD, thanked Prof DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov, PhD Eng. Vladimir Vutov and PhD Eng. Ivan Vutov for supporting this substantial investment. ‘It will reduce the company’s transport carbon emissions by 5% and enhance operational safety,” he added.

On behalf of the management team at Geotechmin OOD, Mr Dominic Hamers, Executive Director, said, ‘This is another major investment in the modernization of Geostroy AD’s machinery fleet. I believe the new machines will drive higher productivity, make operations more environmentally friendly, and ensure improved driver comfort.’

Father Yoan Aleksiev conducted a water-blessing ceremony for good health and trouble-free operation of the new machines, wishing that the investment would be repaid many times over.
The opening ceremony was attended by M.Eng. Dragomir Draganov, Executive Director of Ellatzite-Med AD; M.Eng. Stoil Dimitrov, General Production Director; M.Eng. Slavey Ivanov, Deputy General Production Director; Mrs Emilia Ilieva, Executive Director of Geotrading AD, and representatives from companies within GEOTECHMIN GROUP.
