Ellatzite-Med officially opens a new Summer Cinema in Etropole
Ellatzite-Med, part of GEOTECHMIN GROUP, opened doors to a new summer cinema in the town of Etropole, offering residents and visitors a unique outdoor movie experience. The project aims to enhance the cultural and social life in the municipality.
‘This is a significant and long-awaited investment, and I am very glad that Ellatzite-Med and GEOTECHMIN GROUP have been able to make it happen. I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov, President of Geotechmin OOD, for his continuous involvement in the implementation of this project,’ said M.Eng. Stoil Dimitrov, General Production Director, during the opening ceremony. He also thanked the project designers from Geoproject EOOD and the builders from Geostroy AD, two companies that are both part of GEOTECHMIN GROUP.
‘Today’s event is a source of pride for all citizens. The investment in the construction of the summer cinema will bring benefits to everyone in our town and to the municipality at large,’ said M.Eng. Vladimir Alexandrov, Mayor of Etropole Municipality.
At the opening ceremony, the ribbon was cut by M.Eng. Stoil Dimitrov, General Production Director at Ellatzite-Med, the Mayor of Etropole Municipality M.Eng. Vladimir Alexandrov, M.Eng. Tsvetoslav Petkov, Executive Director of Geostroy AD, and M.Eng. Ivaylo Stanev, Manager of Geoproject EOOD.
Father Emil Yakimov from Etropole Monastery inaugurated the new summer cinema with a solemn water-blessing ceremony.
‘Thanks to a wonderful Bulgarian, a patriot, the conditions for building the new cinema were created. This person is Prof. Tzolo Voutov. Let the children know that there are people who give selflessly for the advancement of culture and education. Today, I am especially happy because one of my dreams has come true – having a cinema in the town of Etropole,’ said the film director Ivanka Grabcheva at the opening ceremony.
The new summer cinema offers an open-air screening room with a large seating area and a pastry shop. It has a 12 x 5 m projection screen, and the 160 spectators’ seats are amphitheatrically arranged. A children’s playground has been constructed next to the building, as well as a car park and bicycle racks.
The Naked Truth About Zhiguli Band was the first selected for screening, marking the beginning of a series of free movie screenings for the town’s residents. In support of Bulgarian cinema, Ellatzite-Med team has selected Bulgarian films to be showcased to Etropole citizens.
