Ellatzite-Med and Aurubis exchange ESG practices

Ellatzite-Med, part of Geotechmin Group, welcomed a delegation of Aurubis AG and Aurubis Bulgaria at Ellatzite Mine Complex near the town of Etropole. ‘As long-term partners in the critical copper supply chain, we discussed topics of mutual interest based on CSRD reporting and ESG policies. It was underlined once again how important both companies are for the region, and how both contribute to improving the living standards of local people and society at large. Looking forward to keeping the exchange on a regular basis with Aurubis sustainability team in the future,’ said Mr Dominic Hamers, Executive Director of Geotechmin OOD and member of the Supervisory Board of Ellatzite-Med.
Sharing best practices between the companies creates transparency in the supply chains and is an opportunity to integrate ESG principles in their operating models. The B2B collaboration in this area is also of paramount importance for long-term sustainability and responsible business practices.
