Bulgarian Red Cross awarded honorary certificates to Geotechmin and Ellatzite-Med for demonstrating compassion, humanity and commitment
Geotechmin OOD and Ellatzite-Med AD received honorary certificates at a session of the National Council of the Bulgarian Red Cross held on 19 June in Sofia. The awards were given in grateful appreciation for their generous support, empathy and commitment to BRC’s cause during this challenging time.
The President of the Bulgarian Red Cross Academician Hristo Grigorov presented the special honorary certificates for the donations. He thanked for the long-term partnership with GEOTECHMIN GROUP and especially for the benevolent support provided by the two companies during the coronavirus pandemic.
On behalf of Geotechmin OOD, the honorary certificate was received by Mr Dominic Hamers, Executive Director of the company. ‘ GEOTECHMIN GROUP is a long-term partner of the Bulgarian Red Cross and we have always been trying to help where needed. Our desire to make donations during the pandemic arose spontaneously. For us, this is a sign of solidarity with others, but above all it is a matter of civic duty. We are satisfied that, through our donations, the Bulgarian Red Cross has helped medical institutions and vulnerable groups throughout the country,’ said Mr Dominic Hamers when receiving the honorary certificate.
Ellatzite-Med AD was represented by M.Eng. Kostadin Naydenov, General Director Production who received the appreciation certificate. He thanked Acad. Grigorov for the partnership and for the efforts of the humanitarian organization to help people in need, emphasizing that it has always been a matter of honor and responsibility for Ellatzite-Med AD to donate and contribute to the society.
The event was also attended by heads of the regional organizations of the Bulgarian Red Cross. It was held in strict compliance with all infection prevention and control measures prescribed by health care professionals for organizing such events.
