49 students successfully complete 2023 Summer Internship Programme at Ellatzite-Med AD

49 students have successfully completed the 12th Summer Internship Programme of Ellatzite-Med AD, part of GEOTECHMIN GROUP. It was conducted at the two company’s production sites – Ellatzite Mine Complex and Flotation Complex.

‘I do hope that you have gained valuable first-hand experience and put into practice what you have learned at university. I would encourage you to seize the opportunity and find your future job in the mining sector,’ said the Director of Ellatzite Mine Complex M.Eng. Ivaylo Nikolov to the young people at the end of their internship programme.

‘Our doors will always be wide open for you to start work here,’ said the Deputy Director of the Flotation Complex M.Eng. Krasimir Dinekov.

Mrs Milena Hristova, Human Resources Director at Ellatzite-Med, thanked the mentors who had supported interns to build confidence and excel in their training. ‘I believe that the internship programme was fruitful and satisfying. Many of our colleagues started their career with our Internship Programme and rose to management positions, which means that it makes sense,’ said Mrs Hristova.
‘We learned more than we expected,’ said the students after receiving their certificates for successful completion of the internship programme. Some of them have already become full-time employees of Ellatzite-Med AD, while others are planning to hone their skills and practical experience in the company next year.’
‘More than 300 students have successfully completed our internship programme until now. Nearly 70 of them are working as full-time employees at the company,’ concluded Mrs Daniela Goranova, Head of Staff Recruitment, Training and Qualification Department. She explained that the interns would be able to apply for scholarships granted by Ellatzite-Med AD. For the 2019/2020 academic year, the company had awarded 25 scholarships to 16 students. The selection of scholarship recipients for this academic year has yet to be made.
